“无为而治”作为一种治国思想 ,在历史上 ,尤其在封建王朝建立之初起到了积极的作用。历史上“无为而治”的成功实践主要体现在统治者少私寡欲、清静利民、维护政策的稳定 ,重视用人和纳谏等方面。无为而治本质上是一种典型的“人治”模式 ,但其中的一些观点在当今仍有积极的意义

The concept of "governing by doing nothing that goes against nature" as a means of state affairs management played an active role in history,especially in the initial stage of a feudal dynasty.Its successes were mainly demonstrated in the effort made by the rulers not to seek after their personal interests and satisfy their desires,in their effort to let things take their own course,in their effort to adopt a policy of political stability,and in their effort to place able people at suitable posts and take counsel with the subordinates.Such a concept is in essence a typical model of "governing at people's will".Nevertheless,the concept is to some extent of significance even today.
