开明士绅是抗日根据地“三三制”民主政权中属于中间势力的一部分,他们不仅在政治方面对根据地建设颇有帮助,而且在根据地的经济、军事、教育、社会救济等方面,也发挥了积极的作用,为抗战胜利做出了贡献。开明士绅的历史功绩,不能抹煞。
