论用价值目标判断改造世界的理论与实践

认识可以区分为解释性的和改造性的。前者包含真理问题 ,后者则与真理问题无关。因为实践只能检验解释性理论的真理性 ,不能检验改造性理论的真理性。改造世界包括“对象能何改”和“对象当何改”这样两个基本问题。“对象能何改”的问题虽有真假之辨 ,却无真理可言。“对象当何改”的问题也不是靠实践标准 ,而是靠价值目标解决的。

Goal of Value as a Means of Judging the Theory and Practice of Transforming the World

Cognition can be either interpretive or transformative. The former concerns the issue of truth while the latter does not, as practice can test the truth of only interpretive theories. In the transformation of the world, two basic questions are involved: one is How can the target be transformed? And the other is How should the target be transformed? While there is the matter of telling the true from the false in the first question, there is no truth in it. As for the second question, the answer lies not in the criterion of practice but in the goal of value.
