On the Author's Psychology in Creating the Poem,Pipaxing

Bai Juyi created the poem, Pipaxing,with a complex moud. In short, this state of moud can be found in his loneliness, submisiveness and homesickness. To be exact, loneliness is suggested in his sense of losts in spirits and his dissatisfaction with and exclusion from the existinc circumstances; submisiveness is in tune with the times and letting nature tack its course, a self-sponsored response to the relegated life; homesickness is shown in his love and yearning for the hometown,converting to the spiritual world.
