赵匡胤祖籍问题再辨析

赵匡胤祖籍“涿州说”“已成定论”,而“保州说”也绝非空穴来风。事实真相是：赵匡胤祖母刘氏系保州人,在赵匡胤祖父赵敬死于涿州后因战乱携年幼子女回娘家居住,不久因涿州被割让给契丹而不得归,故在保州有赵姓人定居、繁衍,即后来皇族之“疏属”,至宋真宗朝,这竟被曲解为赵氏“本籍保州”,于是造成与“信史”记载僖、顺、翼三祖“并幽州”与“本籍保州”以及已成定论的“涿州说”与“证据确凿”的“保州说”的矛盾与争论。

That Zhao Kuang-yin,the first emperor of the Song dynasty,was born in Zhuozhou seems to be widely accepted,but his birth in Baozhou is not without evidence.The truth is that Zhao's grandmoth- er Liu Shi is from Baozhou.After Zhao's grandfather died in Zhuozhou,Liu Shi came to her mother's home with her children in Baozhou.Soon after this Zhuozhou's cession to Khitan kept her from going back to Zhuozhou,so in Baozhou there lived some people with the surname Zhao who became distant relatives of the emperor.To the emperor Zhenzong it was mistaken that Zhao's ancestral home was in Baozhou, leading to a series of contradictions and argument.
