| Abstract: | The translation of Chinese neologisms of state affairs and politics into English plays quite a significant role in China's present day external publicity activities, as well as in China's opening to the outside world. The newness of these neologisms makes their English translations inaccessible for translators, and thus poses great difficulties and challenges for the translation of this kind. This paper aims at working out a set of proper principles of translating them into English on the basis of analyzing major difficulties that may arise in the process. |
