信息组织能力与二语写作质量的提高

本文从韩礼德系统功能语言学理论的角度出发,分析了大学生二语写作中时常出现的语篇思想统一性不高、连贯性不强、语句堆积的问题, 认为这些问题是由于写作者只注重语言的概念功能和人际功能, 忽视语言的谋篇功能而造成的.本文指出, 在写作教学中应该加强对学生信息组织能力的培养, 引导他们通过主位系统,信息系统和衔接系统更好地实现语篇功能.由此证明了懂得主位述位的基本理论有利于实现语篇的思想统一性,了解语篇的基本推进模式有利于实现语篇的连贯性,了解语篇的信息性有利于实现语篇的简洁经济性.

Improving EFL Writing by Strengthening the Messages Organizing Ability

This paper examines the incoherence, lack of unity, message redundancy that characterizes most EFL writing from the perspective of systemic-functional linguistics. Different from the previous research, this paper emphasizes the importance of strengthening students' messages organizing ability in EFL teaching to help them solve the above problems. Based on some specific writing examples, this paper holds that students with some knowledge of thematic structure, information structure and discourse informativity tend to produce concise texts with unity and coherence.
