试论章士钊对于个人与国家的调和

章士钊在个人与国家关系的问题上经历了由国家优先于个人到个人优先于国家的转变，这种转变的发生主要是由于吸取了卢梭的“总意”理论和边沁的“功利主义”，但是他始终没有把二者中的任何一方放置于绝对的位置上，而是致力于调和二者的关系，以求二者以言论自由为中介在彼此妥协中保持一种动态的平衡。
