Cultivation of Citizenship Consciousness in China's Democratic Political Construction

The Party has been consistently pursuing the goal of developing socialist democracy.Promoting citizenship consciousness is a necessary ideological guarantee to improve our democratic system,to enrich the forms of democracy,to widen democratic channels and to protect the legitimate rights and interests of citizens.At present,China's overall lack of citizen consciousness has become obstacles to the building of socialist democratic politics.Starting with the importance of fostering citizen consciousness,this article analyses the actuality of Chinese citizen consciousness and raises the corresponding approach to fostering citizen consciousness with Chinese characteristics.
