关于中国当代文学史的几个问题

“中国当代文学”,从文化、语言、民族的统一性来考察,应由三个“板块”构成:大陆文学、台湾文学、香港与澳门文学。这正与抗日战争时期“中国现代文学”的三个“板块”相续接。近年来有三种研究倾向不利于把握“当代文学”的根本特征与历史定位,研究失去了历史感。“当代文学”这一文学时段,是五四启蒙精神与五四新文学传统从消解到复归、文学现代化进程从阻断到续接的一个文学时段,文学史在这里走了一条“之”字形的路。

Some Issues Concerning the History of Contemporary Chinese Literature

From the perspective of the integration of culture, language and nation, "contemporary Chinese literature" is constituted of three "plates", i.e., Mainland Chinese literature, Taiwan literature, and Hong Kong and Macao literature. The three parts succeed to the three "plates" of "modern Chinese literature" during the War of Resistance against Japan. There have been in recent years three scholastic approaches that misrepresent the basic features of "contemporary Chinese literature" and its historical position, losing the sense of history. "Contemporary Chinese literature" is a literary stage characterized by the change from decline to return in the enlightenment spirit and neo-literary traditions of the May Fourth Movement, and by the change from obstruction to continuation of the modernization of Chinese literature. During this period of time, Chinese literary history had taken a zigzag route of progress.
