摘    要:儒学思想有一种原则,就是崇尚历史文化。历史文化是多个世纪累积而成的精神尺度。儒家相信人不应受动物属性和快乐欲求支配,而应在大的精神尺度上成为一个“人”。这个大的尺度就是由历史文化累积而成。现代社会的主流道德是从自然人权的初始假定引申出来,与从“人禽之别”引申的儒家道德有很大不同。前者可称为“权利”道德,后者可称为“教化”道德。中国现在尤其需要落实“权利”道德。但“教化”道德也应纳入学术界的视野。

Abstract:Confucianism has a principle, i.e. , the principle of advocating historical culture. Historical culture is a yardstick of the mind, accumulated over the centuries. The Confucians believe that man should not be controlled by animal instincts, pleasures and desires, but should be "human" on a large scale of the mind, which in itself was an accumulation of historical culture. The mainstream morality of the modern society is an extension of the initial assumptions of natural human rights, and differs radically from the Confucian morality which extended from "human-animal distinction" . The former can be called "right" morality, whereas the latter can be named "cultivation" morality. Right morality is now a top priority of present day China, and cultivation morality should also be within the vision of the academic circle.
