| Abstract: | The origin and formation of the Chinese drama has been a focus of discussion for contemporary scholars.Owing to lack of record and different research perspectives,there have been no unanimous conclusions.There are actually six major points of view:witchcraft origin,dance and song origin,Nuo culture(mashed play)origin,Paiyou(comic paly)origin,puppet show origin and Indian paly origin.They are all revealing ,for they rest on different bases and sources. |
