试论缩略语及其与原词语的关系

缩略语是基于经济原则把较长的短语(词)通过缩减、节除等方法缩减而成的词语.它与原词语,所指相同而能指不同.缩略语的能指和所指是间接的反映关系,原词语的能指和所指是直接的反映关系.缩略语中各组成部分的所指不是其本身的意义,而是其所代表词语的意义.原词语的能指是缩略语的能指和所指的中介.我们理解缩略语意义的时候,必须依靠原词语,从整体上把握原词语的意义.缩略语和原词语的能指不同,致使语法功能也会有所不同.缩略语通过词化,可构成新词语.

The Relation between Abbreviation and the Original
