Abstract:This paper proves that task-based language teaching is effective in solving such problems as students’ lack of confidence to talk in English and incompetence to improve spoken English.Through nearly four years of research and observation among two groups of students of different levels,it is found that teachers should apply "input" according to specific student groups,which can be temporarily omitted for higher-level students while added more for lower-level ones.
