财经英语模块教学改革实践与启示

财经英语是经济文化全球化发展背景下应运而生的综合能力课程,是隶属于专门用途英语的一个分支。通过调查研究发现该课程的教学定位、教学目标、教学模式、教学方法和评价方式等都存在不同程度的问题,缺乏统一的标准和成功的范式,因而尝试对此课程进行模块化教学改革实践,针对课程教学过程中存在的问题进行整体改革,以期为后续研究奠定基础,进一步推进应用型高等院校财经英语课程的规范化、科学化和系统化,保证良好的教学质量,实现人才培养与社会需求顺利对接。

Reform and Implications of Modularizing English for Economics and Finance

English for Economics and Finance is one of the subdivisions of ESP(English for Special Purposes), aiming to cultivate learner''s comprehensive capabilities in response to the demand of economic and cultural globalization.Investigations and researches show that this course in many universities lacks a unified standard and no model is assumed successful, so problems occur in respect to course orientation, teaching aims, teaching mode, teaching approaches and assessment.In order to ensure the teaching quality and to further this course to be more standardized, scientific and systematic, a modular instruction reform can be tried so as to tackle the problems.More importantly, it will help college education to meet the needs in the fast changing world.
