由谣到诗——中国诗歌起源及其初步发展刍论

有文字记载前,诗歌的发展可分为原始“谣音”、原始“歌谣”、“歌”三个不同阶段,并在逐步演变中具备了一定的抒情和叙事因素;有文字记载后,又可以将“诗歌”、“歌诗”、“诗”作为诗歌研究的主线。由最初的“谣音”到成熟的文人诗,中国古代诗歌经历了一个融汇且渐变的历程。

From Ballad to Written Poetry--The Origin of Chinese Poetry and its Initial Development

Before written record came into existence, the development of poetry can be divided into three stages, i.e., ballad, original ballad and poem, and in the process of evolvement certain elements of emotional expression and narration are added. After written record came into existence, it witnessed a new trend of development in the formats of poem, poem ballad and poetry. From the initial ballad to a mature poetry, classical Chinese poetry experienced a process of confluence and transition.
