| 摘 要： | 共和之初的罗马为了生存与发展，不断地与强敌抗争，在短短的300多年中，罗马就由台伯河畔的小城邦一跃成为囊括欧亚非三大洲的大帝国。罗马民族将个人的命运与国家的命运、个人的事业与国家的事业紧密联系在一起，形成了“忠勇卫国，甘于牺牲”的爱国奉献精神，从而有效地推进了国家的扩张进程。
