Tongdao Dong Autonomous County is located in the mountains in Huaihua, Hunan Province. The county is remote, and the residents hold fast to their ethnic lifestyle. There are many wooden houses and wooden bridges throughout the county. One can hear, constantly, the low sound oflusheng, a local reed-pipe wind instrument. Yang Huihui, who loves photography, lives in a wooden house in Gaotuan, a village in the county. Over the years, Yang has taken many photos of her hometown, and she has recorded the changes that have taken place in the county. Her photos have drawn many tourists to the ＂amazing place,＂ so they can witness firsthand the beautiful scenery and the residents＇ centuries-old ethnic culture.
