小小娟人唱响大舞台

北京绢人，从头到脚都采用了中国丝绸、娟纱，人物的脸型、服饰和动作表情，充分体现出中国风貌。由于人形的主要原料是彩娟，因此人们称其为“北京娟人”。这一颇具特色的传统手工艺已入选北京高级非物质文化遗产名录。

Play Big Roles in Promoting Traditional Chinese Culture

Tile first ＂Beijing silk figures＂ were created during the Northern Song Dynasty （960-1127）. However, due to some historical reasons, the art form started to wane during the mid-Qing I）ynasty （1644-1911 ）. It was not until 1955, during the International Exhibition of Dolls, held in New Delhi, capital of lndia, that the figures reappeared. The exquisite figures, made by Ge Jing＇an （a woman in East China＇s Zheiiang Province）, were a hit. Since then, the ancient art form has had a new lease on life, and it has been in favor with people fi＇om all over the world.
