| 摘 要： | 美国是一个多民族的国家，许多不同的民族生活在一起，他们的历史、文化传统相互交融，彼此渗透，而这种不同民族与文化的交融为美国英语的发展提供了丰富的语言材料。来源众多，数量丰富的外来词汇进入了美国英语，成为美国英语特有词汇的主要来源之一。
