| 摘 要： | 民初政治调和思潮深具由妥协实现民主转型的政治智慧,其衰落不仅在于身处激进时代的"不合时宜",更在于民初的历史土壤不适宜妥协政治文化的生长。决定思潮衰落命运的是与生发妥协的英美截然相反的历史土壤,不仅有深厚的帝制大一统结构下专制强王权、一元论与人治等政治文化传统,而且有"国家强于社会"、农民阶级与小农经济占主导的东方农民社会。
