刘勰关于文学史料学的见识

刘勰的《文心雕龙》蕴涵着相当丰富的文学史料学内容。刘勰重视史料,敬佩孔子在史料方面作出的贡献,肯定刘向、刘歆和班固在史料学上取得的重要成绩。他把"真"作为衡量史料的最重要的价值标准。对待阙疑史料,他主张遵循孔子提出的"阙疑"原则。他强调注释史料要避免错误、力求简明。他指出,使用史料,应正确无误,要做到精要,注意选取典型和使用新史料。

On LIU Xie's Idea about the Theory of Historical Materials of Literature

The book Wenxin Diaolong contained much about the theory of historical materials of literature which LIU Xie attached great importance to.He admired Confucius for his contribution to historical materials and he approved LIU Xiang,LIU Xin and BAN Gu's important achievement they made in the theory of historical materials.Also,LIU Xie valued "trueness" the most important criterion in measuring the historical materials.As to the ones which were questionable or not at hand,LIU Xie maintained the principle of "reserving query" advanced by Confucius.He also stressed correctness and succinctness when annotating historical materials and the materials used should be correct,brief,typical and new.
