On Blessing,Misfortune and Happiness in Tai Xuan by Yang Xiong LIU Shao-junZHANG Ting

Tai Xuan written by Yang Xiong, a leading confucian of the Western Han Dynasty, divides the process of development and change of things into three stages: thinking, blessing and misfortune, in which blessing is the key and is also the focus of discussion in the book, and is discussed in Tai Xuan combined with a variety of conditions. This paper analyzes the relationship between blessing and misfortune, blessing and happiness, and compares the terms with the thoughts of Freud and Kant. At the same time, through the Yang Xiong's life experience and personality, the paper searches for the root causes of such ideas.
