| 摘 要： | 《楚辞》意象体系纷繁复杂，涉及植物动物、法度规矩、自我形象等范畴，具有浓郁民族特色和多重象征意义。英国著名汉学家霍克思寄情于象，采用保留意象、转换意象、舍弃意象等方法，力图揭示原文意象所负载的思想内涵和深邃意境，传达屈原的美政理想、求索精神、爱国情怀、高尚人格。译者以传播中国文化为目的，兼顾目标语读者的可接受性限度，体现了以异化为主的翻译倾向以及兼蓄包容的文化视野。

| Abstract: | The image system of Chu Ci is complicated, involving plants and animals, regulations and rules, also self-image, and so on. The famous British sinologists Hawkes translates images with strong emotion. By retaining images, converting images and abandoning images, he tries to reveal ideological content and artistic conception. He also tries to convey QU Yuan's political ideals, spirit of exploration, patriotism and noble character. Hawkes takes disseminating Chinese culture as the purpose and also considers target readers' acceptability, which reflects the tendency of foreignization and cultural horizons of embracing foreign culture. |
