仁义礼智圣五行的思想渊源

诸家讨论《五行》经传的作者时代相去甚远的深层原因,在于仁义礼智圣五行说与子思的关系。而郑玄注中所保存的文献材料,说明仁义礼智圣五行说的思想源自孔子。荀子以之为子思首创,应该是正确的,世子很可能不是仁义礼智圣五行经或传的作者。从相关文献来看,这一学说曾经广为流行,但是所依据的理论基础是后来式微的尚土的五行说,因此在后世不受重视。然而即便是仁义礼智圣五行,或许也仍然保留有数术的痕迹。

The Intellectual Origins of Wuxing of Renyilizhisheng

The ultimate reason why scholars could not agree to each other on the editor and time of the lections or annotates of Wuxing,lies in the relationship between the theory of Wuxing of Renyilizhisheng and Zisi,grandson of Confucius.However,the datum saved in Zhengxuan' s annotates shows that the theory derived from Confucius.It seemed inerrable that Xunzi had said the theory was initiated from Zisi,and the the editor of the lections or annotates might not be Shizi.Based on correlative documents,it seemed as if the theory had prevailed at one time,But it was not accounted subsequently since its basic frame of reference became an discarded standpoint that Tu was the most important element in Wuxing.However,we can still look through that even this theory may have trails of Shushu.
