| Abstract: | This article deals with the unique style of Matisse's painting starting with the oriental arts,which are mainly represented by African arts,Japanese woodcut,Arabian decorative pattern as well as Chinese painting. The article elaborates some parts of strong oriental color in Matisse's paintings such as formal aesthetic feeling,model sense,expression and painting factors etc.Thus it will advance the profound connotation of Matisse's arts the mutual blend of the arts between the East and the west. |
