Research of Novel of the New Period: Perspective of the "Other"

The integration of global economy and the internet of communication leads to globalization in culture and the formation of the new pattern of world literature. The Chinese novel of the new period which originated and developed in this new pattern needs a cross-cultural perspective of the "Other". This external perspective may find what the internal perspective may not find, thus deepening the understanding of the novel of the new period.
