Cultivation of Students＇ Scientific Literacy in Research-targeted Teaching in Universities——A case study of Historiography

The application of research-targeted teaching model in the historiography in universities can effectively stimulate the students＇ exploring spirit in experiencing and understanding history, and cultivate their literacy of exploring history and finding out problems. Likewise, their ability and quality of collecting, collating the original historical literature, and getting the first-hand information through surveys, interviews and field visits can be greatly improved in this way. By writing papers, reading notes and reports, students can greatly promote their writing ability. It is therefore clearly shown that to cultivate the students＇ scientific literacy can help lay solid fundation for their future study and work.
