A Reflection on the presupposition of Corporate Strategy Theories with Chinese Characteristics in the Transition Period

The presupposition of main stream western strategy theory are self-interest, rational and economy human. The paper endeavors to compare these presupposition with the Chinese traditional thoughts. With accordance with Chinese traditional economy and management thoughts and the reality of the transition period as its principle, the author describes the unique dual wavering of the strategy theory presupposition of Chinese characteristics. The author also briefly analyses the impact of the dual wavering on the corporate governance, organizational structure, corporate culture and other corporate strategy topics.
