| 摘 要： | 享有较高社会声望的士绅视地方风俗之培育、司法审判之公正、社会秩序之维护为自己众多职责的一部分。他们身体力行,或通过圣谕宣讲的劝说方式感化乡人,使他们遵循封建礼教;或结交官府、或直接调解地方纠纷以维护封建法律的公正公平;或由他们出面、或受官方委托组织地方团练,为维护清朝陕西地方的社会秩序,保护地方社会人民的安危发挥了重要作用。
