| Abstract: | The characteristics of the county and the city in Robert Frost's poems and their relationship as well are presented in the light of his romanticism and anti-romanticism. It purports to demonstrate that thanks to his romanticism and anti-romanticism, Robert Frost achieved a wholeness of the county and a wholeness of the city in his poems, thus grasping the essence of the whole human society. |
