全球化与中国第五代电影

摘    要:随着经济全球化的加速,文化乃至政治的全球化同样成为时代的必然。我国电影最早主动回应全球化的,正是以张艺谋、陈凯歌为代表的第五代。进入新世纪后,第五代电影更从看与思并重的“双轮革命”,迅速演变为“好看”压倒“好思”的独轮旋转,他们的影片不复当年的主题、立意,也日渐远离了政治和道义责任。第五代电影退出“前锋”甘做“后卫”固然也无可厚非,但是,一个民族的文化不能没有脊梁和灵魂。认可电影的商品价值并不意味着文化责任的消解,走向世界也并不表示就可以丢弃自己的根。而同样进行着电影国际化探索的台湾导演李安,则为人们提供了更为有益的借鉴。

Abstract:As representative figures of the "Fifth Generation" of Chinese movie directors,directors such as Zhang Yimou and Cheng Kaige produced films on their own initiative to respond to the globalization trend in culture.In wake of post-colonization and interactions between the West and the East, some reasonable western culture factors are inevitably taken into Chinese movies.Unfortunately films by the fifth generation in the New Age have discarded the usual Chinese pattern of "think-film-with-visual-effect" to pursuit visual effect only.Their movies no longer have typical conceptions or the consideration of moral and political responsibilities as they did before.The paper suggests that it is all very well for the "Fifth Generation "to retreat from "avant-garde" to a "back fielder".However,a national culture must have its backbone and soul.Second,to gain commercial value does not mean to abandon culture responsibilities.Third,national root should be kept in drive for internalization.In this respect,the Taiwanese director Ang Lee furnishes more helpful reference with his exploratory efforts for internalization.
