| 摘 要： | 隐喻理解是话语理解的一个重要方面。传统隐喻理解理论中的比较观、相互作用观、语用观都未能触及到隐喻理解的实质；而隐喻的认知观则从人类的思维、认知出发，考察了隐喻的产生、运作与理解，从而比较成功地解决了隐喻理解这个问题。

| Abstract: | Metaphor understanding is an important part of discourse understanding. Traditionaltheories of metaphor ( the comparison theory , the interaction theory , the pragmatic theory) failedto touch the essence of metaphor understanding. The cognitive theory of metaphor, based on hu-man cognition, investigates the production, operation and understanding of metaphor and success-fully reveals how metaphor is understood in discourse. |
