| 摘 要： | 象征手法是短篇小说里经常使用的一种写作手段。在短篇小说《白苍鹭》中,作者朱厄特匠心独具地将白和黑两种颜色与普通的意象相互结合起来,从而达到强化小说的艺术表现力和感染力的目的。此文就白和黑这两种颜色在文本中的运用,分析其在不同的语境中表现出的不同作用和象征意义。
