城市社区包括城市整体社区和城市邻里社区两个层次,它们构成城市基层民主发展的二元格局,只有将两个层次的民主建设结合起来,才能有效地推动城市基层民主政治的发展,建构一个适应市场经济体制发展要求的健全的民主社会,也才能解决社区建设和城市社会发展中所面临的种种问题。

Development of Democratic Politics of Urban Communities: From Content to Form

Urban community comprises the two administrative levels of general urb an community and neighborhood community, which constitute a binary situation of the democratic development of basic urban units. Only if the democratic constru ction at both levels is closely combined, can we promote democracy in the basic urban units so as to build a sound democratic society to meet the requirement of the development of the market economic system and thus solve the various proble ms which exist in the course of community construction and urban social progress .
