| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of the structure and characteristics of English metaphors,the paper points out the steps of English metaphors comprehension.With the combination of examples,this paper discusses five major E-C translation strategies of English metaphors,namely,literal translation,replacement translation,simile,liberal translation and compensation,so as to provide reference for English metaphors translation. |
