| Abstract: | Higher education in the Rear during the Anti-Japanese War is a special stage in history of higher education in China. Though it had many defects, the universities removed into the Rear took over a lot of students who escaped from areas occupied by Japanese so that it made great contributions to educational development in China: it guaranteed to enlarge educational scale, improve the quality of teaching, do academic research and promote culture exchange, therefore it severed directly the Anti-Japanese War |
