| 摘 要： | 长期以来,英汉语中的数字符号深深地打上了各自文化的烙印,并呈现出诸多不同的所指和能指,而这源于许多不同的因素,如民族心理、民族历史、宗教信仰、文学艺术等。汉语数字符号所承载的文化信息与英语对应物有相异之处,造成了在英汉互译时,译者应采取相应的翻译策略,方能达到跨文化交际的目的。

| Abstract: | The numerals in English and Chinese are affected deeply by their respective culture for a long time,thus showing lots of different referential meanings and literal meanings which stem from many different factors,such as the national mentality,history,faith,literature and art,etc.The cultural information reflected by Chinese numerals is dissimilar to the information reflected by their English counterparts.Consequently,the relevant translating methods would be used to achieve the aim of intercultural communications in English-Chinese translation. |
