主笔—小说家与晚清小说中的“启蒙主义”

摘    要:主笔—小说家及其小说作品为晚清小说之重要组成部分。由于主笔—小说家的复合身份而使得这种小说亦具有多重特性,其中在受众兴趣娱乐及教育启蒙方面的考量兼顾,突显了这种小说在市场商业化、社会大众化及审美启蒙性诸方面的时代总体关注与具体实践形态。相较而言,这种小说在社会启蒙方面的认同承担及诸多努力,一方面创造性地转换了传统知识分子在化民群治方面的道德责任,另一方面,亦将中国传统小说从一个封闭的作者核心系统中解脱出来,开创了一个更为开放与自由的小说叙事时代。

Abstract:In late Qing Dynasty,there were many editors in Chief whose other identities were novelists.Therefore,Some researchers simply consider the two kinds of identities as equal,but this is not true.Because of their complex identities,their works had multi-characteristics.This highlights the general contemporary focus and specific patterns in the fields of commercialized market,social popularization and aesthetic enlightenment.This type of fiction,taking the responsibility of enlightening the public,on the one hand,changes the moral obligation of the traditional creative intellectuals;on the other hand,it will rescue traditional Chinese fictions from a closed world,and initiate a much opener narrative era.
