| 摘 要： | 谚语是民族良知的精华,一个民族所创造的谚语反映一个民族的文化模型,而一个民族的语言行为和语言习惯受到文化模型的制约。通过汉英隐喻谚语的比较,以Lakoff(1987)"理想化认知模型"为视角,阐释文化模型在隐喻模型的形成中影响源域向目的域的映射方式、目的域的源域选择及目的域的意义诠释。

| Abstract: | Proverbs are the essence of a nation's intuitive knowledge and they reflect a nation's culture model which conditions people's linguistic behavior and habits.By comparing Chinese and English metaphorical proverbs and utilizing the notion of "Idelized Cognitive Models" advanced by Lakoff(1987),this paper attempts to enunciate that cultural models affect the mapping patterns of the source domain onto the target domain,the choices of sources for the target domain and the interpretation of the target domain in the construction of metaphorical models of Chinese and English proverbs. |
