浅析施特劳斯学派对卢梭政治哲学的解读

施特劳斯试图以诸多＂双重倾向＂来阐释卢梭的政治哲学,解开卢梭梭作品中那些表面的龃龉。然而,施特劳斯在卢梭所展示出的诸多双重倾向之间选定哲学或准自然状态一极,却是出于其自身的隐微写作。施特劳斯的多数弟子遵循了施特劳斯的阐释策略：卢梭以一种回归古典的姿态,进一步推进了现代性,引发了现代性的危机。但他最杰出的弟子布鲁姆却通过对《爱弥儿》的重新解读,试图在卢梭这里发现堪与古典哲学匹敌的新的政治哲学根基,从而对施特劳斯构成了挑战。

The Strauss School on Rousseau's Political Philosophy

This paper critically examines the Strauss school’s interpretation of Rousseau. Leo Strauss tried to interpret Rousseau’s political philosophy in terms of ＂dual inclinations＂, to dissolve the superficial self-contradictions. In fact, Strauss chose the pole of the philosophy or quasi-natural state because of his own esoteric writing. Most disciples accepted Strauss’s interpretation strategy： by restoring the antiquity, Rousseau brought about the crisis of modernity and pushed modernity further. However, the most outstanding disciple Allan Bloom challenged the teacher. Bloom tried to find new basis of political philosophy which can be compared with classical philosophy in Emile.
