| 摘 要： | 习语是一种在结构和意义上都具有稳定性的语言结构。它承载着该语言的文化内涵 ,具有鲜明的民族色彩。文章从宗教神话 ,风俗习惯和地域环境三方面讨论了汉英习语所折射出的文化 ,分析了读者对习语文本解读障碍的原因 ,并根据奈达的深层翻译理论对习语翻译中文化差异的处理进行了探讨

| Abstract: | Idioms are language structures of stability both in structure and meaning. Rich cultural connotation underlies some idioms, which reveals their national characteristics. This paper first elaborates the cultural connotations reflected in idioms with regard to religious legends, customs, and geographical environment. Then it analyzes the factors that lead to target language readers' difficulty in understanding idioms. The effective way in translation to convey the cultural differences to target language readers is also discussed in the paper. |
