新疆高校少数民族大学生英语学习风格调查研究

文章从学习风格的定义入手，概述了学习风格的基本特征、研究趋势以及前人对中国学生学习风格的研究。在此基础上，对新疆少数民族非英语专业大学生的英语学习风格进行了调查，并利用SPSS（13．0）对各种学习风格的大致分布规律、不同群体学生学习风格的差异及其显著性进行了分析，试图唤起中国学者对学习风格这一学习者个体差异的更多关注和研究。

An Investigation and Study of English Learning Styles of Minority Students in Xinjiang

Using SPSS （13.0） statistics software, the writer conducted an investigation of 231 minority students in universities of Xinjiang to study the English learning styles of minority students. The results showed that minority students in Xinjiang used various styles in their English learning. Male students tended to use more analytic methods, while female students were more fond of auditory and sensory study methods. Students of arts are different from those of science and adopt the group and hand-on learning style of. Leaming styles are more or less influenced by the students＇ resources. And there is a positive correlation between students＇ learning time and their English proficiency.
