Two Problems in ZHU Xi's Researches on Zheng Meng

As the most influential philosophical work of ZHANG Zai, Zheng Meng plays occupies a position of extreme importance in the history of Chinese philosophy. An investigation into ZHU Xi’s complicated attitude to Zheng Meng and the two problems of the later generations about ZHU Xi’s researches on Zheng Meng indicates the great influence of ZHU Xi’s attitude to Zheng Meng on researches of the later generations on ZHU xi. The two problems in ZHU Xi’s researches on Zheng Meng contribute to a better understanding of the internal logic of the development of Neo-Confucianism from North to South Song Dynasty.
