儒学治家的典型──论郑义门的孝义家风

浙江浦江郑家从南宋始世代同居,历时三百余年,是义居共财家族的典型,素有“江南第一家”之称。其一整套严密的宗法制家规之所以历久不废,主要是有儒家道德中“孝义”这一共同的文化心理为凝聚剂,其中虽不乏封建糟粕,但主要则属于传统文化中的精华,是在建设有中国特色的现代化精神文明中应该加以弘扬和足资利用的瑰宝。

From the Southern Song Dynasty the Zhen family in Pujia, Zhejiang, began to enjoy several generations living under the same roof. This way of family life lasted more than three hundred years. It was a typical example of a family sharing both spiritual and material happiness and known as "the Nomber One Family in the South of the Lower Reaches of the Yangtse River. "The reason that the whole set of strict confucianist family regulations and rules could go through a long period of time consisted in the fact that a coagulating part was played by the Confucian ethical principle of filialness as a common cultural psychology. Largely speaking, such principle was the cream of traditional culture, though it contained some feudal ideas. This principle deserves to be carrried forward and made use of in the development of spiritual civilisation when we want to promote the modemization modernization of China.
