On Zuo Zongtang's Great Ideas about National Security When He Administed the Northwest China

In order to uphold the safty in border area and the unit of our whole nation,Zuo Zongtang had raised a series of ideas to implement postively on different aspects from politics,military,economics,culture to the environment protection.He resisted the invaders from Russia and impeled to establish Xinjiang province.At the same time,he had taken many actions,such as building irrigation works,practising ariculture and pasture simultaneously,developing regional economics and education in ethnic minority area,planting trees and protecting the nature environment.Both his great ideas and valuable experiences are still enlighting the development of the national security and the explotation of northwest China today.
