展示性和参考性问题在外语课堂教学中的应用研究

摘    要:展示性问题和参考性问题是外语课堂教学中使用频率较高的两种问题,展示性问题适宜用于英语专业基础阶段的课堂教学,主要用于考察学生对基础知识的理解和掌握;参考性问题多用于英语专业高年级的课堂教学,可以激发学生更多的课堂互动并且有利于培养学生的创新思维能力和外语交际能力。

Abstract:Based on the observation and studies of the teaching activities in five classes of English majors,this paper suggests that display questions are suitable for the teaching and learning at the foundation stages,examining students’ mastering and understanding of the basic knowledge.In contrast,referential questions are mostly used in classes of advanced grades and are useful for the cultivation of students’ creative thinking ability and the improvement of their English communicative competence so as to encourage them to participate more actively in classroom interactions.
