| Abstract: | Recent psychoanalytic writings expand the concept of  entitlement as a psychological construct. In general an individual's attitude of entitlement falls into one of three global categories: 1) excessive entitlement; 2) normal or healthy entitlement; and 3) restricted entitlement. A woman with symptoms of restricted entitlement is presented. Underlying dynamics and treatment interventions are explored. |
