天地会在壮族地区的传播和发展

天地会最早活动在福建南部一带 ,清嘉庆、道光年间蔓延到长江以南各个省区。其中广西的天地会发展最为迅速 ,道光中叶以后即成为洪门活动的重点区域之一。壮族是广西天地会的主要力量 ,也是参加天地会活动人数最多的少数民族。这与当时广西的社会状况、壮族的社会文化结构和天地会的宗旨及组织形式有极大的关系。从 19世纪中叶到 2 0世纪初 ,天地会在壮族地区组织了持续不断的反清起义 ,对近代中国和近代壮族的社会发展都产生了影响

Heaven and Earth Society: Its Spread and Development in Zhuang Areas

Originated in southern Fujian Province, the Heaven and Earth Society spread to various provinces south to the Yangtse River in the first half of the 19th century. Its spread in Guangxi was particularly rapid, and after the 1830s Guangxi became a major region in terms of the Society's activities. As the primary force of the Society in Guangxi, the Zhuangs made up the country's largest ethnic minority that ever took part in its activities. This had a lot to do with the socio-cultural structure of the Zhuang on the one hand and the Society's purpose and its form of organization on the other. From the mid-19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, the Society continually launched uprisings against the Qing Dynasty in the Zhuang areas, in this way exerting influence on the social development of modern China as well as of the Zhuang people.
