A Comparative Study of the Venture Capital Investment Environment in Shenzhen,Shanghai and Beijing

Investment environment is the prime consideration for enterpreneurs an d venture capital investors.Among Shenzhen,Beijing and Shanghai,which is the best place for venture capital investors and the development of hi -tech.The paper compares policies an d laws,human resources and scientific research conditions,finance,industrial networks and u rban functions,venture capital investment systems and project mark et in the three cities.It argues that despite growing similarities in government pratice,l aws and regula tions and urban fuctions there are im portant differences in the investment environment of the three cities owing to differences in development time and economic basis.Though weak in basic scientif ic research and higher education,Sh enzhen maintains its ad-vantages in systems,fanancial mark et and investment environment,thus becoming the first choice for investment in China.
